What is the difference between the UDS protocol and KWP2000 over CAN. Please help me to understand. Are both of them ISO standards?

KWP2000 is out of fashion now. In Europe, it has been stipulated that since 2008, the new off-line vehicles no longer use the KWP2000 based diagnostic system, using the ISO 15765 diagnostic system. UDS is basically in a dominant position and has a tendency to develop into a dominant position.
The difference between the two ISO diagnostic criteria is:
KWP2000:ISO14230
UDSonCAN:ISO14229
From the network level of OSI layering, the difference between them is:
The KWP2000 unrelated protocol stipulates the network layer and needs to be customized by the user, which will increase the difficulty of use, and the UDSonCAN architecture has ISO15765-2 to define the related content of the network layer, and has defined a perfect communication error handling mechanism and bus arbitration mechanism, which is more convenient to use.
