Hi,

I bought Improved Radiation Meter kit:

http://www.elektor.com/magazines/2011/november/improved-radiation-meter.1971931.lynkx

but the kit to my surpise came with some notes but NO circuit diagram!!

How is one to assemble kits with circuit diagrams?

What do I do now?

Well, actually, the kit is a complementary service we offer readers of our magazine. As you already noted, we published an article describing the circuit in November 2011. The article also incorporates the circuit diagram...

That sounds fine until you realize the item was ordered through a web search.
Also I think more good reason to send print article and magazine cover and an offer for a subscription within the mailed box. Cost is < $0.2.

Anyway I retraced the steps of finding the item through web search, ordering and found download link for article which said it needed 10 credits to download at a cost of around 1 euro. I was not having it.

Went home and tried it again to complain but I logged in this time from the same account as I had originally purchased under, and then found the download link
allowed me to download the article. (I have no idea what will happen if the download did not save properly!!!)

Though I have what I need now, personally I believe this business model is a flawed path to follow to save $0.2. All kits are sold with diagrams by everyone that sell electronic kits. If the kits are not being sold with diagrams, it should warn the user at PURCHASE TIME and then we can know if this business model is good or bad.

Hi All,

I'm new to Elector forum and online shop (Have know elector since a young boy). I came across elector since I was searching for the Analog Device Zigma DSP ADAU1701.

I will like to order the ADAU1701 UNIVERSAL AUDIO DSP BOARD PCB. Either the (130232-71) [Complete module] or the (130232-72) [Raw PCB with ADAU1701].

My problem is that I cant see from the description if there is a schematic included in the shipment.

Over the last 4 days I have send 2 emails to service @ Elector but I get no answer. Elector has no phone number so it is rather difficult to get an answer.

I hope some of you can help me.

Thanks
PBO

The ADAU1701 DSP article including the schematic was published in Elektor Magazine:
https://www.elektormagazine.com/magazin ... 1401/24348

Send me an email and I will send you the pdf file.

Our phone number is (+44) 20 7692 8344
