universal dsp i2s input

Postby zodono » Thu Nov 06, 2014 3:26 am

i have assembled my elektor adau1701 dsp board and am quite pleased that it is working flawlessly with its built in analog adc and dacs, but i need the analog adc for another purpose and i also need pc audio so i purchased from ebay a board made by ljmaudio that supposedly appears as a usb sound device and outputs that sound to i2s, it is based on sa9023 chip. i have attached a picture of it. I believe i have connected it correctly to the elektor dsp board and configured it correctly in sigmastudio but i cant for the life of me make it work at all. can anyone offer any suggestions? i have googled high and low but im at a complete loss. Thanks.
