Professional Lab Power Supply (09-2014)

Postby incyi » Fri Aug 29, 2014 11:28 am

I didn't see a topic about this so I wanted to open this.

Is there already somebody who build this and have it ready ? It's more then 300€ to make it complete. I wanted to build this but I'm not if it's worth. Can somebody give advise ?

For example if I compare with this:
https://www.google.nl/search?client=ope ... 0&start=10

MCpower LBN3010, this is a 0-30v 0-10a switching power supply.

incyi, yes I too am interested in this supply and would like to know the specs before I commit serious money to building it. Can you list the specs?

This is all what I found:

www.elektor-magazine.com/130234
http://www.elektor-labs.com/project/lab ... 13130.html

And off course in the September number there are more details. But it's still to much money to spend and then determine that it's more/less then I need.

Hello,
i build this power supply. But I have Problems and it is not possible to set a voltage Level on the power Supply.
Only in the calibration I see a Voltage Level from 1V on the Output. The current can I trim to 1A.
After the calibration it is not possible to set a Outputvoltage on the Display or on the Output?

Hi everyone,

I'm one of the designers of the power supply.

Hermann I need some further information about the failure to give a helpful answer. All I can suggest now is to check the firmware making sure the state machine is handled correctly.
Besides check if you are really leaving calibration mode.

Kind regards
ahi

Hello,
It's true, we must first try to understand everything before launching!
