course /electronics club for kids

Hello , I am a dad who thinks of signing the children to electronics classes or club (like football or karate). do you know/is there anything like that in Gloucester/Cheltenham area? I have never had any experience with building anything like that so no knowledge in that filed I am afraid, but I can see a big potential hence my idea.

I would appreciate your input, help, directions etc...
